Happy 1/2 Birthday

Miss Campbell turned 6 months old January 23rd so we just had to celebrate her half birthday! (Yes, I have too much time on my hands. And no, we won't do this EVERY year.)
She just had to have these cute little baby leg warmers. She got a pink and white striped pair too.

She got 3 new pairs of jammies from Kevin since we've had to retire so many pairs lately that no longer fit her.
This is a picture of Campbell during the cupcake making process. She was so tired because she hadn't had a nap all afternoon but refused to go to sleep. She could barely keep her eyes open.

I decided to give her an early bath and get her ready for bed since I thought she would have an early bedtime. Oh, but don't worry! She got a "second wind" if you will and was wired, hence the picture below!!!

Here are her cherry chip cupcakes that Kevin and I enjoyed on behalf of her.

My Special Day

Here are a few pictures from my sweet little 27th birthday. Kevin and Campbell made my day so special!

This is what I found when I came downstairs Thursday morning. The "i love my mommy" blanket is new, and she is holding a sign that reads, "Happy Birthday Momma. You are awesome. I love you more than rice cereal."

Campbell looks a little out of it, but she had just woken up. :) Her new bib says "My mom is hotter than your mom"

Campbell helped me blow out my candles on a yummy little dessert.

Kevin gave me a coupon for one "Kevin and Campbell-free day." I will definitely be redeeming that soon to do some shopping and pampering. :) Thank you to everyone who made my day so special!!! xoxoxo

Happy Birthday Dad!!!

My dad's 50th birthday is January 25th, but my mom threw him a big surprise party in Tulsa tonight. Unfortunately we were not in attendance but we send our love and hope that it was a wonderful evening!!! I am so thankful to have been blessed with such an amazing dad! He would do anything for his family and is so much fun to be around!

We love you!!!

25 Weeks

Campbell has finally started rolling over like a pro!!! This little girl has never been fond of "tummy time" so it has taken her a little longer than some babies, but she finally got the hang of it. She can roll all over the place.

Her new pierced ears have not bothered her at all. She is completely unaware that she even has earrings, and she lets me clean them each day with no problem thank goodness.

We tried a new church here that just had its grand opening last Sunday. It is alot like LifeChurch, and the pastor moved here with his family and several other people from South Carolina. Anyways, we left Campbell in the daycare for the first time and she did great! She didn't cry at all when we handed her over, and they said she was happy and played with the little toys the entire time. We were so relieved that it went well so we'll see how tomorrow goes!

Campbell loves sitting on dad's shoulders

We had to cave and get Campbell a new toy. She plays in her "Around We Go" all the time so we felt she needed a little variety. This one is a jumper, but she hasn't quite figured out how to bounce in it yet.

Campbell and Kevin are laying in the living room watching T.V.

This was our view from lunch today. I know the rest of the country is experiencing record lows, but we're suffering here in San Diego in the 70's. ;)

Campbell's trying her first goldfish cracker. She is so over the bottle and wants nothing but table food.
The La Jolla caves. I hear about these all the time, but today was the first time I've seen them since we've lived here.

Guess who..............

has cute little newly pierced ears???
My friend Kelli inspired me to get Campbell's ears pierced since she just got her little Kameron's pierced last week. We've been wanting to do it for a while, but could never bring ourselves to it. We finally decided to take her yesterday, but started to second guess ourselves once we got to the mall. We were both so nervous and questioning whether we could go through with it. It didn't help that we had to wait about 20 minutes while another girl got her ears pierced and the employees were detaining a shoplifter!!! Once it was our turn, she screamed for a bit, but was soon calmed by a lovely grape sucker. I think she was more scared of Kevin having to hold her head so tightly than she was of the actual piercing. Needless to say, she was all smiles before we left the mall.

Don't kid yourself. That IS my foot with an inside-out sock that she is chewing on in the next two pictures.

All cleaned up and ready for bed

24 Weeks

Our little sprout is getting to be such a big girl. She is eating rice cereal and baby food in her highchair, drinking water from a sippy cup, sitting in the child's seat in shopping carts, sitting in a highchair when eating out, cutting more teeth, and growing enough hair to hold a little barrett. Silly little milestones I know, but it seems just like yesterday that she was this teeny little snuggly buggly!

Here are some recent random pics.
