Random Summer Adventures

Campbell attended VBS at our church and was in the purple group so she was decked out in purple each day.

We watched our little friend Rowan for a bit one day and Cannon was thrilled. ;)

Spent the afternoon at JumpZone

We spent a Sunday afternoon at the Sci-Tech Discovery Center.

We met up with Mindee at the mall. She always treats my kids to lots of fun stuff. :) We love her!!

Campbell's Frozen 6th Birthday Party

Our sweet Campbell turned 6 years old, and her only requests were to go eat at Buffalo Wild Wings (she loves the mac-n-cheese) and go swimming at our neighborhood pool. She's wearing her Elsa crown and Frozen birthday badge.

The Saturday after her actual birthday was her Frozen Birthday Party. She has been talking about having a Frozen themed birthday for months!!! This was my first birthday party to host at our house rather than at another party venue, so it was fun to go all out with decorations, games, and food. Campbell is as much of a party planning nut as I am. ;)

Elsa, Olaf, and Anna welcomed guest onto our icy, snow-lined walkway.

We had a super cute photo booth set up where the guests could use photo props to look like the Frozen characters.

Asher was a big fan of the photo booth! I think I have a picture of him as every character. Such a cutie!

We had a little art station set up where the guest could paint with water and epsom salt.  Once it dried, it looked like ice.

We had a fun Frozen trivia game to quiz all of the guests on their knowledge of the movie.

After a few snacks, games, and an Elsa outfit change, we headed outside for our FROZEN treats. We had an ice cream truck come to the party and everyone was able to choose their favorite ice cream treat rather than cake or cupcakes.

We came back inside to sing Happy Birthday and open presents.

The party couldn't end until we played Pin the Nose on Olaf. :)

The food went along with the Frozen theme as well.

Melted water

Blue jello was Kristoff's Ice

Pretzel sticks were Olaf's Arms

Candy dipped marshmallows were Frost Bites

Hershey's kisses were a Kiss to Melt a Frozen Heart

Goldfish were Kristoff's Fish Under the Sea

Carrots with dip were Olaf's noses

Elsa's Punch

We also had cheese, turkey, ham, and crackers which were Sven's Snacks, snowflake shaped PB&J which were Anna and Hans' Sandwiches, and blue rice krispy treats which were Frozen Krispy Treats.

Happy 6th Birthday to our favorite 6 year old in the whole wide world!!! We love you precious girl!!!
