Campbell's Recital Weekend

We had a fun and busy recital weekend with friends and family. It started off Friday night when we met Pops and Nams at dinner at Plucker's then headed over to the Allen Performing Arts Center for Campbell's dress rehearsal. We came home and played that evening, then woke up Saturday and went to breakfast at The Cotton Gin. We came home and got dressed and ready to head to Campbell's recital. She did a ballet number to "Angel."

                                               

After the recital we headed over to Splittsville for Cru's 5th birthday party. The kids had never bowled, and they loved it. 

After the birthday party, we met up with Peete, Bethany, Cru, and Presly at Watters Creek for dinner. We ate outside so the kids were able to play by the creek and see the ducks. They had a car show and live music that evening, so we all had a great time!!

Granny is 70!!!

My mom threw a surprise birthday party for my sweet Granny's 70th birthday. They told her that my mom and her sisters were going to take her to Pinot's Palette, and they were going to all meet up at my mom's house. Much to Granny's surprise all of her friends and family were there to surprise her. We counted, and I think there were about 70 people there for her 70th birthday. That's a lot of love!!

Campbell got in a little pool time the night before the party.

We slept in a room at my mom's house that has a crib in it for  the grandbabies to use, and Campbell wanted to sleep in it. She loved it!

My sister keeps a Nap Nanny at my mom's house for Carson to use, but Cannon wanted to sleep in it, ON the bed. Crazy kids!

Play Date and Daddy-Daughter Date

Campbell loves swimming and "surfing" in our little pool in the backyard.

Kevin took Campbell on their first Daddy-Daughter Date. She chose to go to Gatti-Town for dinner and games and then go shopping to pick out a few new outfits.

Lambert-King Wedding

We had an awesome weekend in OKC for my cousin, Kyle's wedding. We made a little stop at Turner Falls on our way there.

Campbell got to go to the wedding with us while Cannon stayed at the hotel with Pops and Nams. She loved getting to go to the wedding and dancing at the reception.

Muffins With Moms and Graduation

The kids' preschool held a little event called 'Muffins with Mom" so I joined Cannon in his class first for some breakfast. He made the cutest little frame covered in gold, spray painted noodles.

Campbell's class sang a few songs for the moms and gave us flowers and a questionnaire they had all answered.

The following week was Campbell's Pre-K graduation. Even though she is going to do another year of Pre-K before starting kindergarten, she participated in the special ceremony with her classmates.
