Introducing Cannon Taylor Spriggs

We are so excited to introduce our precious boy, Cannon Taylor Spriggs! He was born Wednesday, September 1st and weighed 8 lbs 7 ozs. He is such a little trooper and just snoozes all of the time, which has made it a little easier on us to transition to life with 2 kids!
This delivery went very well except for the fact that I felt much more PAIN this time around. Once my water was broken by the doctor, my contractions went from "uncomfortable" to "please put me out of my misery" and I couldn't get my epidural until I had finished one more bag of IV fluids. Then everything went a little crazy with me almost passing out, the baby's heart rate dropping, the nurses giving me a shot to try to slow down my contractions after we spent all morning trying to increase them, and dialating from a 3 to a 10 in about an hour and a half. In the end, we got a precious little blessing of a boy out of it, and we couldn't be more thankful!!!

Somehow I managed to not get any pictures of my sister Lauren who was here for several days or my best friend, Mindee who visited the hospital. Sorry girls. :(

First Day of School

Campbell started her first day of school at a little church preschool right by our house. She goes 2 days a week and really likes it so far. She cried the first day at nap time, but has napped each day since and she had some tears one day this week when I dropped her off but was fine the rest of the day. I am so thankful that she is liking it so far and it gives us a nice little break 2 days a week. Of course we had to get her picture of her with her backpack, lunchbox, and nap mat.
