3 Month Pictures

14 Weeks

Our little sweetie is so much fun! She is now able to grasp and hold things like toys, blankets, and rattles. You can just see her little mind at work thinking about how to maneuver her hands to get a hold of whatever it is she wants. Her new thing to do now is stick her fingers in her mouth WITH her pacifier or WITH her bottle. She wants them both at the same time. It makes us crazy because she gets milk all over the place while she's drinking her bottle, and she always accidentally knocks her pacifier out of her mouth with her fingers while she's sucking on it. She has a new friend too, Ollie the Octopus. It's a stuffed blue octopus with little toys connected to it that hangs from her play mat. She loves that guy!!! The minute we put him in front of her, she gets this big smile on her face and starts goo goo-ing to him in a really high, sweet voice. It looks like she's flirting with him! She also LOVES cartoons! What 3 month old watches cartoons? I swear I don't want to be that mom that plops their kid in front of the t.v. but she loves them, especially the Backyardigans. It is too cute!

13 Weeks

Kevin was out of town for three nights this week for business so it was the perfect opportunity for my mom to come visit and have some fun! We had a great time going out to eat, shopping, visiting the pumpkin patch, and having Campbell's 3 month pictures taken!

Campbell and my mom :)

This was too funny. We were eating lunch in this nice new restaraunt and Campbell decided she was ready for a nap so we just put her right down on the seat of the booth to sleep. It was a little bright in there so that's why the burp cloth is over her head. We were able to enjoy our lunch without wrestling Miss Campbell. All of the servers got a big kick out of her sleeping there.

12 Weeks

We just can't believe what a sweet little laid back girl we have. She is so easy going and only gets upset when she's hungry, tired, or forced to wear a silly lamb costume. She talks to us all the time with all of her little gurgles, and she loves to smile. Her eyes just light up when she's smiling. We are so blessed to have such a precious little baby.

She LOVES to chew on her hands! She is drooling a lot lately also. I wonder if teething is around the corner???

Kevin's mom was able to come in town for a wonderful visit. It is so great to see family and have visitors. She was so thoughtful to watch Campbell for us for two nights while Kevin and I spent the weekend in Palm Dessert for our anniversary. Kevin and I celebrated our 4th wedding anniversary on October 9th. I have to say that marrying Kevin is the most "right" thing I've ever done in my life. There is no question that Kevin and I were meant for one another. Being married to Kevin is so easy and effortless. I couldn't ask for a better husband! Anyways, we loved having "Nams" visit, and Campbell really enjoyed their time together as well!!!

"Please, no more pictures. I don't want anyone to see me wearing this silly costume."
"Seriously, can I take this off yet?"

One Unhappy Little Lamb and Punkin'-head

So, we attempted our own little photo shoot of Campbell in her Halloween costume and cute little festive Halloween outfit. As you can see, it didn't go so well. We shouldn't have done it so close to bed time and maybe she would have been a little more cooperative. Even screaming and crying, she looks awfully cute!!
This is the most pitiful little face I've ever seen. You can't read it, but her shirt says "Snack-0-lantern"
"What are you guys doing to me?"

Little Angel

Campbell will usually go back to sleep for a little while after she wakes up for a bottle at 6 so sometimes I'll just lay her down next to me in our bed. I know it's a bad habit to start but I can't resist. Atleast she's not going to bed in our bed, and I won't continue letting her do this much longer. Anyways.....the other morning she kept trying to roll over so I turned her over and let her sleep on her tummy for a little bit since I was right next to her and able to watch her. She was so cute. Notice the little drool spot by her mouth. :)

11 Weeks

As you can see in many of these pictures, Campbell is becoming much more expressive and smiley, and is just on the verge of laughing. She has a little giggle she does, but I know she's just going to laugh like crazy any day now. Pardon all of the pictures of her in her bib. We really do let her go without a bib on. Promise. :)

10 Weeks

At Campbell's last doctor's appointment on Friday, her doctor told us that at her age and weight she should be able to go about 10 or 11 hours at night without eating. I had been getting up to feed her atleast once and usually twice in the middle of the night so I was thinking I would have to slowly cut her back to not having any bottles in the middle of the night. Thankfully, Campbell decided that very night that she was going to be a big girl and start sleeping through the night!! She now goes to bed around 8 and wakes up around 6. I count that a success! I can usually get her to go back to sleep for a little bit after her morning bottle too which is nice. Now I just have to work on being able to put her to bed awake and letting her put herself to sleep. She was able to do it the first night I tried it, but it hasn't happened since. She is smiling more and more everyday as you can see in the pictures below, and she loves to make her sweet little girly "goo goo's" and "ga ga's." She could watch her little hands move around for hours at a time too. She does it all day long.
