Coronado Photo Shoot

We went over to Coronado the other day to eat lunch at the best little Greek place and try to get some cute pics of Campbell with the lovely background. We ended up with some funny pics, but none with a dead-on smile. Still, they were too cute not to share.

First Time in the Highchair

We have started putting Campbell in her highchair when we feed her rice cereal. She LOVES her rice cereal and is ready for MORE FOOD. We tried green beans today, and she wasn't too fond of that one. We'll have to give it another try in a couple of days!

Bib Update

Anyone who reads this blog regularly knows that Campbell ALWAYS has a bib on and has been known to be a spit-up machine!!! I keep a bib on her all day rather than changing outfits 6 times a day. It's ridiculous I know. Well..............the spitting up is slowing down I must say. I think we are on our way to spit-up-less days ahead. Now I can try to let the poor thing go without a stinkin' bib every once in a while!

Christmas Scrapbook

Several people have told me that they can't access the scrapblog so here is the link. Hopefully this will work. If not, let me know!!! Again, excuse Doretta!!! :)

------------------------------------------------------------

I decided to put what few pictures I have of our Christmas festivities into a "scrapblog." I must warn you about the page with a letter to "Dearest Dorretta." Don't know who Dorretta is and didn't want it on there! I just spent the last hour trying to delete it from the scrapblog and it keeps showing up!!! Geez! Please disregard that particular page.

Anyway, we had a wonderful time during our second visit back to Oklahoma in a month. It was a quick turn-around from Thanksgiving, but well worth it!!! Our families are always so accomodating and make our travels so much easier. We love you all and can't wait to see you again very soon!!!

Week 21: Lots of Randomness Wrapped All Into One Post

We went to an AWESOME Christmas boat parade in Mission Bay with our friends Sam and A.J. Munchkin was in attendance, but she was sleeping in the car which was parked directly behind where we stood to watch the parade. You can see some of the boats lit up in the water behind us. So fun!!!

Kevin and Cam taking a nap. :)

We decided to let Campbell open one of her presents early. The poor kid needs some toys!!! The same ol' rattles just aren't entertaining her anymore!!! Like most babies, she enjoyed the wrapping paper more than the toy.

Just hangin' out watching cartoons on the bed.

Little candycane head!!!

All bundled up in her stroller.

Playing with paper towels and a Christmas wine stopper on the kitchen counter. Anything to keep her entertained!!!

Happy New Tooth!

The title of this post makes me laugh because when Kevin was little, anytime he got a new pair of shoes, he would sing "Happy New Shoes" so I thought "Happy New Tooth" was quite fitting!

The picture is a little blurry, but Campbell's first tooth has broken through. You can see that the one to the left of it is very close as well. Poor little thing has been drooling like crazy and chewing everything in sight.

What is the name of Santa's ninth reindeer?

OLIVE. You know, "Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names. They never let poor Rudolph, join in any reindeer games." Hee hee. That is one of my dad's old jokes. :)

So we'll call this little reindeer that Campbell is perched upon Olive. She fit on it just perfectly and could even hold herself up by leaning on the antlers!

Welcome Aiden

My sister Lauren was supposed to be induced to have her baby the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, but her doctor pushed it back an extra week because he didn't feel that she was ready. This meant that she would have the baby the day after we left Tulsa. I just couldn't miss it so Campbell and I stayed 2 extra days so we could meet my new little nephew, Aiden Matthew. Click HERE to follow Aiden's blog.

Campbell is checking out her new cousin.

My mom with her two grandbabies.

18 Weeks

This week was very busy since we flew back to Oklahoma to spend Thanksgiving with our families. The last time we were in Oklahoma with Campbell, she wasn't aware of what was going on AT ALL! She had no clue she flew on a plane, we could pass her around to all of our friends and family to be held without her crying, and she slept the majority of the time. This time was a little different experience. She was completely terrified when we first stepped on the airplane. She started looking at all of the people around her, turned her bottom lip out, and started screaming. We thought we were going to have to get off of the plane. We eventually got her calmed down, but the flight was exhausting to say the least. She did much better on the flight back and slept the majority of the time once she got comfortable.

Campbell on the way to Oklahoma.

On our second day in Oklahoma we got to see our friends, John and Megan, and their brand new baby boy, Cooper. He was so cute and snuggly and slept most of the time, and it was great to get to visit with our sweet friends.

Cooper Courtney

We spent Thanksgiving in Stigler with my family, where Campbell got kisses from her cousin Camden who is 14 months old.

And everyone had to watch her drink her bottle in her jammies.

I didn't take nearly enough pictures this trip, and the pictures I did get are VERY random. So this post is a little random. So you'll have to deal with the randomness.

17 Weeks

I don't even know what to call this "toy" other than "Around We Go" since that is what it said on the box, but Campbell can finally enjoy it. We tried to put her in it about 2 weeks ago and she wouldn't hold her head up (even though she can) or play with any of the toys. Now she is really starting to like it. She especially likes the piano section.

She takes a break every once in a while to do this.

Curious little face.

She's looking at me like, "What are you doing?"

She can barely touch so she can't quite move her seat around the contraption like it's supposed to.

Happy girl!!!

This is really random, but I thought it was too funny. I put Campbell in her bouncey seat in the kitchen with me the other day while I was making lunch. I was cutting up a bunch of things to go in a salad, and I really wanted to get it done. Campbell was getting very hungry for her bottle so I went ahead and made it and propped it up on a blanket so I didn't have to sit there and feed it to her. ( Terrible I know. It was my first time to do this. Promise.) It worked really well, and I only had to adjust the position of the bottle 1 or 2 times. At one point I looked down to check on her and she was in the position she's in in the pictures below. Arms straight out. They're barely even resting on her bouncey seat, just straight out to the side. She stayed in that position for about 5 minutes! Random story I know, but it looked really funny!

The first two pictures below show Campbell doing her new favorite thing, holding both legs in the air. Sometimes if she can't quite reach her feet, she'll just hold her pant legs. Any time we put her down on her back, she immediately goes to this position. It is too funny to turn on her video monitor and see her doing this in her crib at bedtime. I thought she was going to fall asleep like this the other night
