We spent another fun week at the Leaping Lizard Lodge in Broken Bow, OK with my side of the family. We cooked dinner at the cabin the first night. The guys drank wine and watched The Bachelorette......
while the girls and kids played the game, Googly Eyes.
On Tuesday we took the kids to play mini golf while the guys went golfing....
and we let the kids enjoy the hot tub that evening.
Wednesday ended up being rainy and stormy so we hung around the cabin for a bit....
and decided to go have some old time photos taken. We ate barbecue for lunch...
and visited a cute little ice cream parlor after that. :)
Then we made a short drive to Idabel where we visited the Museum of the Red River. They actually had a really cool dinosaur exhibit!
We had to make some pressed pennies before we left.
The rain moved out in time for dinner at the Blue Rooster.
Thursday was our lake day!! Kevin actually had to head home for work, but the rest of us had a great afternoon on the lake.
Thursday evening we had an awesome dinner at Abendigos and rode go carts that were right next to the restaurant.
Cannon rode with Pappy
and Campbell rode with Uncle Brett.
Friday morning we rode the train at the Beavers Bend Depot...
and had Hochatown BBQ one last time before heading home to TX.
Other highlights that weren't pictured were playing Mexican Dominoes, Minute to Win It games, s'mores around the campfire, dinner at Grateful Head, lots and lots and lots of swinging on the playground, fishing, antiquing, and laying in the hammocks. It was a wonderful week with great people making lots of fun memories!!!
