OSU Homecoming
Last weekend we headed to Tulsa to visit our families and go to OSU's football game. Friday night we hung out at Pops' and Nams' house and Saturday we went to my nephew's football game. Jake always does so well and we enjoy seeing him play!

Pops took a turn walking around with "Miss Can't Sit Still" ;)
After Jake's game, we left Campbell with Pops and Nams and Kevin and I headed to Stillwater to go to the OSU football game. We had so much fun eating yummy food at my parents' tailgate and getting to see lots of friends.

Little Lamb Re-do
I had considered letting Campbell wear her little lamb costume again this year since it was so big on her last year. We tried it on to see how it fit and it was a little too snug so we'll go with our other costume option this year! She didn't really mind wearing it too much. She's rolling around on the floor in one of the pictures because I wouldn't let her have the camera, not because she was unhappy about the costume.

Week In Review
Here's Miss Campbell doing her standard camera pose. I never get tired of it! :)
We put child locks on most of our lower cabinets, but we left one big cabinet open that Campbell can get into. It holds all of our tupperware and plastic stuff and she loves it, but I sure don't love cleaning up the contents of it 6 times a day! She's playing with a few of her favorites below.
We can not figure out why her hair looks so red! We don't know where she gets it from.

This past weekend, my mom, dad, Lauren, Dillon, and Aiden all came to visit. We had the greatest time going out to eat, watching football, shopping, and painting Campbell's room!
Campbell and Aiden really enjoyed each other as well. They're becoming more aware of one another, and I just know they'll be the best little buddies really soon.
This little scooter was the hot item of the weekend. Aiden loved pushing this little thing all over the house.

Of course we had to give them a bath together. (Is it just me, or does everyone have pictures in the bathtub with their cousins when they were little??? Maybe it's just our family. Are we weird??)
Aiden decided to push Campbell around on the scooter too.
Our big project of the weekend was painting Campbell's room. My mom and sis helped with this and it would have NEVER happened without them. We painted big, wide, horizontal stripes so we had to paint and measure and level and tape and level and measure and...........oh my it was a task!!! But it turned out SOOOOO cute. Kevin and I still have to paint the ceiling and do some finishing touches, but I'll post some pictures once it's all complete. We started the painted process below. (you can see Lauren's little hand and roller in the far left)
Mom is a paint master!!!
The kiddos in their matching P.J.'s. ( I never had this thought all weekend, but now that I'm looking at pictures it is really strange to see my child and Lauren's child playing together. WE used to be those kids. Weird.)

Catching up on the chaos with a RANDOM series of pictures
Three weeks ago the moving truck arrived in San Diego and loaded up all of our stuff to bring it to Dallas. We flew to Dallas the next day, expecting to stay 2 nights in a hotel and close on our house that Thursday. When we weren't able to close that Thursday, they told us we would close Friday. Friday, we found out we wouldn't close until the middle of the following week. Geez!!! So we packed up our hotel room and headed to Tulsa to stay with our family for the weekend until we found out when we would be able to close. Tuesday, they told us we would definitely be closing on Wednesday so we woke up early Wednesday morning to head back to Dallas for the closing. Well.......guess who didn't get to close on Wednesday??? That's right. Still no closing. Thursday afternoon we were FINALLY able to close and get the keys to the house so the movers could unload our stuff. HOORAY!!! We were so thankful to finally be in our new home!!!

Campbell was so great on our flight to Dallas. We never know if she's going to be an angel or a nightmare on the airplane. Our last flight home from Mexico in July was so terrible that I guess she decided to make up for it on this trip.
Riding the shuttle to the car rental.
Campbell did lots of this while hanging out in our hotel room.

After spending 3 nights in Dallas and still no closing, we were thankfully able to get our car off of a different moving truck. Not so good was the fact that it was FILLED.TO.THE.BRIM. with stuff we had packed in it expecting to just be able to unload it at our house. Since we had no house at that point, we had to fit ourselves and all of our luggage into that car that was already stuffed. I mean, not one square inch of room left!!! Can you find Campbell?
Kevin's sad face about being stuffed in the car.
My sad face about the pile of stuff that was on me.
Once we made it to Oklahoma we got to hang out with our families which was nice and relaxing after our crazy week.
Campbell got to play with her cousin Aiden.
Once we were able to move in, we came across the "Joe Dirt" wig that has made several appearances over the past few years.
And now for a little fashion show fun!!! My mom got Campbell these cute little OSU flip-flops and she has to wear them all the time. She brings them to me several times a day wanting me to put them on her.
Campbell was in need of some new shoes for the fall weather so we had to get these cute little pink, Ugg-looking boots.
