Two Saturday's ago, we decided to get out of the house and drive up the coast to Encinitas since we had never been to the beach area there. We found a cute little outdoor cafe to eat lunch and headed towards the beach, only to come upon a huge beach festival. There was a big stage set up with a band playing, tons of vendors and food, and the beach was packed. We checked it out for a little while, but we hadn't planned on a full-out beach day. You can see a small part of the festival in the background below.

Poor Kevin. Anytime he's at the table and gets on the computer, Campbell is begging to get in his lap within seconds. And he almost always kindly obliges!

We snack on apples a lot and Campbell has decided she likes apples too. She likes to take her own bite but always gets huge chunks. Here she settled for Kevin giving her a piece.
