Pops and Nams in San Diego

We have been looking forward to Kevin's parents visiting us for months and were so excited when they arrived Thursday night. Campbell was already in bed, but we were able to visit and catch up. It was so great to see them!
They were so excited to see Campbell Friday morning and were already awake by the time she woke up at 6:30.
Around lunch time, we headed to Mission Beach to the Wavehouse. The Wavehouse has two big man-made waves that you can surf on. (they actually call it flowboarding) It was such a fun atmosphere and a lot of people were out and about. We had a great lunch, and Campbell was a really good sport, sitting in her highchair the entire time and only throwing various items into the sand below about 57 times!!!

Campbell was busy chewing on her hot pink straw.
After lunch, we headed to Toys R Us to pick out an early birthday present. Campbell had to try out a tricycle for the first time.
Paci and all !
We settled on a cute little kitchen set. Doors she can open and close, an oven and fridge she can put random items in endless times, a stove and sink she can stand up at, and a radio and blender with buttons to push- the toy has it all !!! This is the kitchen pre-assembly.
I got in on the assembly action for a moment.

During the assembly process, we got a package from my sweet friend, Mindee. Another early bday present for Cam. We had to put on this precious headband.
Enjoying a little dinner of blueberries, grapes, cheese, avocado, and chicken. Don't kid yourself though. The avocado and chicken ended up in the drink holder spot on her highchair tray. That's where she puts all of her yucky food she doesn't want to eat.
Kevin in the kitchen making his wonderful guacamole!!!
Nams and Cams
The final product!!!
Gnawing on a chicken leg. :)
More pictures of our fun weekend coming soon!
